We are seeking an experienced, warm, and highly capable nanny who genuinely adores children and enjoys supporting a household to run smoothly. This role offers variety, consistency, and the opportunity to build a long-term relationship with a wonderful family.
You’ll be caring for two bright, fun, and curious boys aged 4 and 6, supporting them through after-school routines, activities, and home life, while also assisting with household management during non-child weeks.
About the Family
This is a busy, active family who value structure, maturity, and flexibility. The children are in a shared-care arrangement, and support is required during Dad’s allocated care days, with household support provided during off-weeks.
The family enjoys the outdoors, beach days, travel, and an organised, calm home environment. They are seeking a nanny who can confidently step in as a trusted support person and become an integral part of their family life.
Your Role Will Include:
Caring for and engaging two energetic young boys
School pick-ups, drop-offs, and driving to activities (family vehicle provided)
Supporting afternoon, evening, and bedtime routines
Preparing meals and snacks (children are currently gluten free)
Play-based learning and age-appropriate activities
Outdoor and beach-based play
Helping with children’s errands and light household organisation
Household management tasks during off-child weeks
Packing and organising for trips
Occasional overnight care
Travel with the family to their holiday home and overseas (as required)
Schedule & Hours:
Guaranteed 20–30 hours per week
Monday & Tuesday: after-school care through to bedtime
(approximately 2:30pm–7:30pm)
Occasional early morning school drop-offs
Every second weekend (Friday–Sunday)
Additional hours during school holidays (alternating weeks)
Occasional overnights when Dad travels for work
Start date: End of January 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)Pay:
NZ$30–$40 per hour, negotiable based on experience

Requirements:
Valid First Aid & CPR certification
Valid Working with Children Check
Valid National Police Check
Full driver’s licence
