What’s the Brief?
We are partnering with an Early Childhood provider to build a meaningful, enterprise-wide Leadership & Capability program.
You’ll be joining a bright, friendly, inclusive People & Culture team, working with a CPO and leaders who genuinely value collaboration, innovation, persistence and continuous learning. With resourcing in place, they’re excited to bring on someone who can dedicate real time and talent to building their leadership capability uplift strategy.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
As a key member of the P&C function, working closely with the CPO and L&D Manager, you’ll design and deliver programs that shape what great leadership looks like. You’ll work with Centre Directors and emerging leaders to build capability pathways, develop resources, and support talent growth from within.
You’ll also partner closely with executives and centre-level stakeholders, ensuring leadership development, succession frameworks and capability programs truly align with the organisation’s needs and expectations.

Your Role in Action - Leadership Development Design:
Build leadership programs, capability frameworks, role progression pathways and tools that support emerging and established leaders across multiple centres. - Facilitation & Coaching:
Deliver engaging workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions for Centre Directors, 2ICs and other leaders; use train-the-trainer models to scale development across Victoria. - Program Creation:
Develop learning resources, eLearning content (Articulate 360), and practical materials leaders can use on the floor. - Stakeholder Partnership:
Work with executives, centre leaders and the wider People Engagement team to shape succession planning, performance capability and career pathway initiatives. - Service Delivery Insight:
Visit centres early on to understand how work really happens - ensuring programs are practical, valuable, and worth taking teams off the floor to attend. - Innovation & Problem Solving:
Be clever and creative in scaling leadership development for a large workforce with limited central resourcing.
Your Toolkit
You’re an experienced L&D / OD / Leadership Development specialist with genuine depth in:
- Designing and delivering leadership programs
- Facilitation and coaching (preferably across operational teams)
- Developing eLearning content (Articulate 360 experience ideal)
- Translating capability frameworks into practical learning pathways
- Building programs in high-compliance, service-oriented environments
You’re persistent, warm and credible - the kind of person who builds trust by showing up, following through, and partnering closely with stakeholders. You use real examples, not jargon, and you know how to tailor your approach for people working in busy, people-facing roles.
You’re driven, collaborative and excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful, scalable and impactful - with the support of a talented, energetic P&C team.
