What’s the Brief?
Join a collaborative, high-performing People & Culture team that supports a large national retail network. This role partners with leaders across multiple states to deliver practical, people-first HR solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
You’ll be part of a team that genuinely supports each other - one that values openness, teamwork, and getting things done the right way.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll step into a key regional partnering role supporting managers and store leaders across Queensland, NSW and ACT. You’ll be the go-to for employee relations, coaching, and capability, helping leaders create engaged, safe, and high-performing teams.
No two days will look the same - you might be managing a complex ER case one moment, coaching a leader through a performance conversation the next, or jumping on a call with a regional manager to problem-solve in real time.
Your Role in Action - Employee Relations Expertise: Lead and manage a range of ER cases – from personal injury and performance matters to workplace investigations and employment changes.
- Trusted Partnering: Coach and support leaders to strengthen leadership capability and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Collaboration: Work closely with peers across states, sharing knowledge and backing each other during peak periods.
- Prioritisation & Pace: Balance urgent, high-risk issues with longer-term initiatives - knowing when to pause, when to pivot, and when to push through.

You’re a capable, confident HR professional who thrives in fast-moving, high-volume environments. You bring solid end-to-end ER experience, a pragmatic approach, and a knack for building strong relationships across all levels of the business.
