Why this role matters As the P&C Business Partner based in Brisbane with one direct report, you’ll play a critical role in delivering the organisation's people priorities across one of its largest portfolios. Partnering closely with executives and senior leaders across 6 sites based in QLD, Darwin & Perth, this role balances strategy and hands-on support to improve leader capability, embed people initiatives, and drive performance outcomes. You’ll be comfortable navigating complexity, coaching senior stakeholders, and using data and insight to shape decisions that strengthen talent, culture, and engagement across a workforce of under 4000
What You’ll Be Driving
Partner with senior leaders to deliver people priorities aligned to the wider transformation agenda.
Lift leadership capability: coach senior leaders on performance, succession and talent acceleration; embed values/EVP and hold leaders to safe, high-performance behaviours.
Use people metrics to inform decisions - set targets/SLAs for key initiatives, track progress, and provide clear, commercial insights to senior managers and executives.
Championing a safe and positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with the organisation's health, safety and wellbeing framework.
Building strong relationships with leaders and collaborating with People & Culture Centres of Excellence to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Lead pragmatic change delivery through ownership transition and restructuring - anticipate risks, advise on ER/IR implications, and recommend solutions that protect commercial outcomes.
Build executive credibility quickly and take point on key relationships
