Who are we? Our client is a leading player in the utility and telecom sectors, with over 25 years of experience delivering successful projects in project management, design, construction, and commissioning. Whether managing the full project lifecycle or collaborating with existing partners, their commitment to excellence ensures seamless service and exceptional outcomes every time.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly established role within a close-knit team. You will report directly to the General Manager of People, Culture & Safety, gaining valuable insights and learning from a strong, experienced team.
Who are you? You’re a natural organiser who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. Calm under pressure, you know how to balance multiple moving parts and keep things on track. You’re confident engaging with people at all levels - from front line staff to senior leaders - and you’re comfortable working in industries where compliance and safety come first. You don’t get flustered by sudden changes or competing priorities, and you’ve got the resilience to roll with the ups and downs of a construction-style environment.
Day to day
This role is all about making sure training happens smoothly and on time across multiple business lines and states. You’ll:
- Coordinate compliance and refresher training (think licences, inductions, and safety training).
- Liaise with internal trainers and external providers to lock in schedules, logistics, and resources.
- Support new starters with induction training before they head out to site.
- Juggle ad hoc requests alongside longer-term compliance cycles.
- Keep training records up to date across systems and portals.
It’s a mix of admin detail and stakeholder wrangling - perfect for someone who likes being the glue that holds processes together.
What's in your toolkit?
- Experience in training coordination, compliance, or RTO environments.
- You’ve worked in a highly regulated industry (construction, utilities, contractors, or similar).
- Strong organisation skills and a knack for making sense of competing priorities.
- Confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A practical, down-to-earth approach - able to handle last-minute changes and casual site culture.
