What’s the Brief?
Looking for a role where you can truly own the HRIS and become the go-to expert? This industry leader has recently implemented Dayforce and is searching for someone to take the reins. You’ll work closely with Payroll and P&C, manage system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and lead reporting and training. It’s a high-impact role in a friendly, down-to-earth team where collaboration is key and your ideas will be valued. If you love the mix of tech, people, and problem-solving - this one’s for you.
Is This Your Perfect Match? You’re someone who thrives on figuring things out, not waiting for a playbook. You bring strong systems know-how, a love for clean data, and a knack for solving problems before they escalate. You’re confident working independently but enjoy being part of a supportive, close-knit team. You’re calm under pressure, naturally curious, and always thinking a few steps ahead. If you’re someone who wants to own a system, make improvements, and bring others along for the journey, you'll love this role.
Your Impact
- Own and manage the Dayforce HRIS, acting as the internal SME across Payroll and P&C
- Handle system configuration, including creating/updating forms and workflows (no coding required, but XML knowledge is useful)
- Manage data imports and exports, requiring strong Excel skills to clean, review and validate information
- Run regular data integrity checks to ensure system accuracy and flag issues proactively
- Respond to and resolve technical support queries and manage open support tickets
- Lead user training and refresher sessions, particularly when new features or modules go live
- Support monthly and ad hoc reporting, including data for board reports
- Collaborate with Payroll and P&C teams on process improvement and module enhancements
- Contribute to new module implementations as part of the broader Dayforce roadmap (e.g. compensation, rem review)
- Identify system dependencies
Your Toolkit
- Proven experience as an HRIS specialist or HRIS/BA professional with exposure to complex systems - Dayforce experience highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail - you know how to clean data and avoid downstream issues
- A business analyst mindset - you understand processes, identify gaps, and turn data into insights
- Confident working independently - able to problem solve without step-by-step instructions
- Experience navigating blue and white-collar environments, ideally within a multi-site business
- Tech-savvy - you understand system functionality without losing sight of user experience
- A team player who thrives in friendly, supportive environments and contributes positively to culture
- Adaptable and self-motivated - comfortable with change and happy to figure things out when processes aren’t perfect
- Strong communication skills - you can work with payroll, HR, and senior stakeholders like the CFO or GM
- Ideally, you're curious about the future of HR systems and excited to improve how people interact with tech
