Day to day
First-response support for employee issues and generalist people queries.
Gather and prep case info for more complex matters.
Coach managers regarding ER, performance and conflict resolution.
Managing employee movements and ensuring compliance across the board.
Running reports and digging into workforce insights.
Coordinating key people programs like performance, engagement and reward.
Supporting and advising managers on people queries and systems.
Jumping into people projects and improving processes as you go.
What's in your toolkit
3-4 years' HR experience in an operational, fast-paced environment
Comfortable using HR systems (bonus points if you've used Employment Hero)
Solid ER foundations – attendance, policy breaches, investigations
Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
A natural organiser who can juggle priorities and spot gaps before others do
A values-driven team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
