What’s the Brief?
We’re partnering with a fast-growing education business that’s shaping the future of early learning. With ambitious growth plans, this role is equal parts leadership and on-the-ground action. You’ll be out in the field, coaching leaders, driving people strategy, implementing a new HRIS and shaping how culture and capability show up where it matters most.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
You are a seasoned HR Business Partner or HR Manager who knows how to juggle strategy and hands-on delivery without skipping a beat. Whether it’s employee relations, workforce planning, or building capability at Centre Director and General Manager level. You bring maturity, momentum, and a get-it-done mindset, and you’ll have the backing of a business that knows your value.
Reporting directly to the CPO, you’ll lead the partnering function across operations with a team of two direct reports. From award interpretation to performance management, coaching leaders to getting Dayforce off the ground, this is a broad role with real impact and even bigger scope.
Your Role in Action
• Be the go-to partner for the operations team, supporting GMs and Directors across 20+ sites
• Lead and coach a small team (1 x BP and 1 x Coordinator).
• Own and drive core people initiatives - workforce planning, succession, capability, and engagement.
• Navigate ER and award matters confidently.
• Turn culture survey insights into action plans that shift the dial.
• Support the implementation of Dayforce and help embed new ways of working.
• Build strong, trusted relationships across the field and support centre - you're the link between strategy and execution.
• Help shape the future of P&C by bringing fresh ideas, sharp judgment, and momentum.
Your Toolkit
• 5+ years of experience in business partnering, ideally in a multi-site or service-based environment.
• Confident navigating ER matters, with strong award interpretation skills.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Strong communicator who builds trust quickly with leaders at all levels.
• Proven experience leading HR teams and supporting others to grow.
• Experience in systems implementation and embedding change (experience with HRIS highly desirable).
• Exposure to compliance-heavy sectors such as healthcare or aged care.
• Sharp judgement, fast pace, and a people-first mindset.
