An exciting opportunity exists for a Permanent Full-Time People and Capability Business Partner in our Office of the CEO Directorate based in the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Senior People and Capability Business Partner - Operations, the People and Capability Business Partner provides expert human resource and industrial relations advice, support and partnering services across the organisation. This role works closely with leaders and employees to drive workforce initiatives, foster a positive workplace culture, support organisational change, and ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional who is passionate about partnering with leaders to deliver contemporary people solutions and achieve positive organisational outcomes. You will be a trusted advisor with strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, and experience across a broad range of human resource functions including employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, performance management and organisational development. Your ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and influence positive change will be key to your success in this rewarding role.
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Have demonstrated experience in a Human Resources or People and Capability role within a medium to large organisation.
- Possess sound knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments, enterprise agreements and contemporary HR practices.
- Demonstrate strong coaching, advisory and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Have experience managing employee and industrial relations matters, including performance management, investigations and conflict resolution.
- Be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Show a genuine commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Hold a current C Class Driver Licence, with relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline being highly regarded.
If you are successful in this position, you will receive: - Salary $108,804.00 - $118,512.00 per annum (Level 6-7, Stream A)
- Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight
- RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
- Flexible workplace options, with the ability to choose your primary office location within the Isaac Region.
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- 15 days personal leave per annum
