Executive Assistant - Moranbah
Isaac Regional Council is seeking a highly organised and dependable Executive Assistant with a passion for supporting executive leadership. Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, this role suits a proactive, trustworthy and energetic professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
In this diverse and fast-paced position, you will coordinate travel, conferences and meetings, develop and maintain procedures, reconcile accounts, prepare and record meeting minutes, and contribute to the overall success of the Corporate Services team.
You are an efficient and capable team member with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, while delivering a high standard of customer service. With proven experience in executive and administrative support, you are a self-motivated individual who can effectively problem-solve, manage competing priorities, and support the seamless day-to-day operations of the Corporate Services team.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5+ years’ experience in Executive or administrative support roles
- Certificate III In Business Administration or similar (highly regarded)
- Experience in correspondence management, meeting minutes, diary management, account reconciliation and file management.
- High level experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including an advanced level of accurate and efficient typing skills is essential.
- Previous experience within Local Government (highly preferred)
If you are successful in this position, you will receive: - Salary $90,205.62 - $97,373.54 per annum (Stream A, Level 4-5)
- Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday)
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
- Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
