Manager Operations & Maintenance (Water and Wastewater) – Isaac Region

What you’ll be responsible for? In this high-impact leadership role, you will:
- Oversee end-to-end operations and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality services
- Champion safety, environmental compliance and regulatory standards
- Drive asset management, performance monitoring and operational excellence
- Build a strong, values-driven culture and develop future leaders
- Represent Council across industry and stakeholder networks
What you’ll bring? You’re a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise and a passion for leadership. You’ll also have:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience at Local Government management level or in a similar role, with proven ability to work independently, exercise initiative and meet deadlines;
- Proven experience in water/wastewater operations and maintenance leadership
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry best practice
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving service improvement programs
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Construction White Card Construction Industry (mandatory)
- C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, environmental management or a related discipline (mandatory)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and/or behavioural testing (mandatory)

- Housing provided or allowance: up to $18,200.00 per annum
