An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Plant Operator to join our Infrastructure Services tema in St Lawrence. This position provides assistance with coordination, integration and delivery of services and the construction, maintenance and operational delivery of vehicles, plant and equipment across Isaac Regional Council.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 12 months experience in similar role
- Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance
- Plant tickets relevant to the job i.e. loader, roller, grader (other plant tickets are desirable)
- Ability and willingness to undertake labouring duties when required
- ‘C’ Class driver’s licence (or higher is desirable)
- Construction White card
- HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence would be very highly regarded.
BENEFITS - Salary $67,578.63 - $71,319.68 per annum
- Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday)
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
