Rae Recruitment are partnering with a national accounting firm, located in South Yarra, who are looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team.

This role is a fixed-term 12-month contract, with potential to go permanent. 

This position would see you working closely with a highly experienced Manager, supporting the wider business for all things HR.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end to end recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interview scheduling and reference checks
• Partner with hiring managers to support effective hiring decisions and a positive candidate experience
• Manage employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, employment contracts, system access and offboarding
• Support performance review cycles, performance documentation and general people administration
• Coordinate staff training activities, track completion and maintain training records
• Manage and process employee leave requests in line with company policies and legislative requirements
• Maintain accurate, confidential and up to date employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with the review and maintenance of HR and workplace policies and procedures
• Support workplace health and safety compliance including documentation, reporting and training records
• Assist with team events, culture initiatives and internal people related communications
• Respond to general HR enquiries and provide administrative support to the Business Manager

About You:

• A people person by nature with a strong interest in Human Resources
• Experience in HR or People & Culture is highly regarded
• If you do not have HR experience, this firm will also consider somebody with a strong administrative background in an accounting firm
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task
