You will be joining a nationally recognised network of business that can offer a broad range of water, irrigation, filtration, pumping and plumbing related products to the domestic, industrial and commercial sectors.  They are a progressive network of business that can provided a range of business and practical industry training for engaged and career driven individuals. 

About the role
This is an opportunity where you can establish and create your own career path. You will be part of the start up of a new branch, where you will be active in sourcing a site, coordinating the store layout, dealing with suppliers in setting up displays and the hiring of staff.  First and foremost, this is a proactive role where you will roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team in the retail, stores or workshop area, conducting pump inspections. With an attitude of equality and collaboration, you will be involved with all key touchpoints across the business. 

Duties 

• Identify opportunities for business growth
• Be proactive across the areas of retail sales, workshop and business development   
• Manage sales budgets, prepare and provide weekly and monthly reports
• Review operational procedures and identify key areas of improvement and growth
• Maintain stock levels and store presentation 
• Be the cultural influencer across all staff from admin, retail, trades 

  
Skills and Experience

• Have a track record of branch or team leadership in the irrigation, pumps or plumbing sectors  
• Be technically sound with irrigation, pump and filtration application
• Have sound commercial and financial skills across sales, pricing and budgets
• Be able to observe and create areas of efficient process change and growth
• Be comfortable with technology such as iPad systems, CRM’s, Excell and Word products   
• Have a flair for training and team mentorship  
• Be well organised with sound verbal and written communication skills
