The Role:

This role sits in the firm's Financial Lines team (think insurance for directors and officers of companies), working for the insurer. You will work 1:1 with a Partner and a team of lawyers. There is a practice manager who will provide you with support and development. The billing is all done by the billing team, so there is no billing in this role. Other duties include:

• Managing inboxes
• Diary and court calendar management 
• Open and close files
• Travel arrangements
• Expenses 

About You:

As this role lies in one of Australia's best law firms a legal background is essential. You will need experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary supporting a Partner or multiple partners. High attention to detail and strong Microsoft office skills. A proven track record to work to deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
