An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Production Manager to join a well-established Australian manufacturing business where you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on safety, quality, productivity and team culture.
This isn't a role for someone who sits behind a desk.
We're looking for an energetic leader who enjoys being visible on the floor, solving problems, developing people and creating an environment where teams perform at their very best.
You'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day manufacturing operation while continually improving efficiency, quality and performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching and motivating production teams
- Driving a positive, engaged and accountable team culture
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities using Lean principles
- Improving productivity, reducing downtime and minimising waste
- Managing production planning and resource allocation
- Monitoring KPIs and reporting operational performance
- Working closely with Maintenance, Planning, Quality, Warehouse and Purchasing
- Championing ISO9001 quality standards and operational compliance
- Driving safety initiatives and building a proactive safety culture
- Developing training plans and mentoring future leaders
- Managing production schedules to achieve customer delivery expectations
We're looking for someone who is:

Ideally you'll bring:
- Proven Production or Manufacturing Management experience
- Strong leadership experience managing manufacturing teams
- Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience
- Experience with ISO9001 Quality Systems
- Strong production planning and KPI management experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to analyse data and make informed operational decisions
- A passion for building high-performing teams
