We are seeking two experienced employment lawyers to join a collegial and collaborative in-house legal team within a large national organisation.
With one permanent and one six-month fixed-term opportunity available, these roles offer the chance to work at the heart of organisational decision-making, providing trusted legal advice on often complex workplace matters. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, solutions-focused advice across a broad range of employment law and workplace relations matters.
These are varied roles combining advisory and dispute work, where no two days are the same. You will be trusted to operate with a high degree of autonomy while supporting sound decision-making and risk management across the organisation. Key aspects of the roles include managing workplace disputes, disciplinary processes, and investigations; attending mediations and representing the organisation before the ERA; providing guidance on legal risk, compliance and appropriate employment practises / procedures; and engaging and managing external counsel (where appropriate).
