Intermediate Accountant | Business Services
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 + superannuation + quarterly team bonus
Location: Gold Coast | Southport or Coolangatta
Work style: Permanent full-time | Office-based | Nine-day fortnight with flexible start and finish times

The Role
Support a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients, with senior colleagues available to guide your work and explain more complex matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
- Completing reconciliations and supporting workpapers
- Assisting with BAS, IAS, FBT and capital gains tax calculations
- Supporting senior accountants with tax planning and advisory matters
- Communicating with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Managing allocated tasks, deadlines and progress updates
- Using cloud-based systems to deliver accurate, timely work
As your capability develops, there is scope to take on more complex work and greater client responsibility.
What You’ll Bring - At least one year of Australian public practice accounting experience
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
- CA or CPA studies commenced, or an intention to commence
- Sound foundations in accounting and Australian taxation
- Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to deadlines
- Clear communication skills and a professional manner with clients
- Willingness to ask questions, apply feedback and contribute to the team
