Senior Manager | Business Services & Advisory
Salary: $150,000 to $170,000 + super & bonuses
Location: Fully remote within Australia
Work style: Full-time | Fully remote, Australian-based

The Role
As Senior Manager, you will play a key role in the firm's leadership team, overseeing client delivery, developing staff and contributing to strategic growth.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a senior relationship contact
• Overseeing accounting, tax and advisory engagements
• Reviewing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, superannuation funds and high net worth individuals
• Providing tax and business advisory services to clients
• Advising on business structuring, tax planning and compliance matters
• Leading advisory work across forecasting, cash flow management and growth strategies
• Researching and interpreting tax legislation
• Managing, mentoring and developing junior and senior accountants
• Supporting a positive remote team culture focused on learning and continuous improvement
• Working closely with Partners on client matters, workflow and firm growth
• Identifying process improvement and automation opportunities
• Contributing to business development and client growth initiatives
• Supporting the implementation of technology and workflow improvements

This is a senior client-facing role requiring technical depth, leadership capability and strong commercial judgement.
 
What You'll Bring

• CA or CPA qualification
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting or advisory role
• Strong Australian public practice experience in business services and tax
• Deep knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage accountants
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence in managing client relationships remotely
• Experience advising SMEs, private clients and high net worth individuals
• Ability to prepare or review technical advice and financial reports
• Business development capability and commercial awareness
• Strong workflow, deadline and priority management skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and modern business technology
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote leadership role

Experience with project management, risk management or process improvement will be highly regarded.
