Bookkeeper | Client Advisory
Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 + superannuation
Location: Rowville, Melbourne
Work style: Hybrid available after probation | 2 days WFH available

The Role
As a Bookkeeper, you will manage bookkeeping and financial administration for a portfolio of clients while serving as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day questions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing bookkeeping work across a portfolio of clients
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting data integrity
- Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS
- Managing payroll, PAYG, superannuation and reconciliations
- Supporting clients with bookkeeping questions and practical system issues
- Helping clients improve bookkeeping workflows and financial processes
- Working with accounting staff and advisers to ensure client information is accurate and timely
- Identifying issues early and communicating clearly with clients and internal team members
- Supporting software use, process improvement and system optimisation where required
This is a client-facing bookkeeping role requiring confidence, communication and ownership.
What You'll Bring - 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Public practice experience is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping workflows across multiple clients
- Experience managing payroll, PAYG, superannuation, BAS, IAS and reconciliations
- Good working knowledge of Xero and other cloud accounting systems
- Ability to answer client questions clearly and professionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Confidence managing competing deadlines across a client portfolio
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ideally based locally to Rowville or within approximately 15km of the office
