This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Accountant to join a progressive professional practice through a structured graduate program designed to build strong foundations across bookkeeping, tax compliance and accounting.
 
Rather than being siloed early, you'll rotate across key functions of the firm, gaining practical exposure, technical development and a clear understanding of how accounting, tax and advisory services work together to support clients.

About Our Client
Our client is a reputable accounting and advisory firm based in Hope Island, offering accounting, tax, business advisory, financial planning and finance services under one roof. The group has around 50 staff across the broader business, with a large accounting division and specialist teams supporting delivery and workflow.
 
The office is located at Hope Island Central with free onsite parking and convenient local amenities.
 
The Role
As part of the firm's graduate program, you will rotate across multiple functions, including bookkeeping, tax and accounting, to develop well-rounded technical and commercial skills.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting bookkeeping services, including reconciliations, payroll and BAS preparation
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and compliance work for individuals and businesses
• Working with senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting tasks
• Learning to use modern accounting software and cloud-based systems
• Gaining exposure to client communication and advisory support
• Building strong technical foundations under structured supervision and mentoring

This role is designed to provide hands-on experience, learning and progression, rather than repetitive or purely administrative work.
 
What You'll Bring

• A recently completed or near-completed degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• An interest in building a career in public practice accounting
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• Familiarity with Xero, MYOB or similar software (advantageous but not essential)
