About the Firm: Our client is one of the largest and most prestigious boutique firms in Melbourne, managing a portfolio of complex local and international clients. Offering a range of business, wealth and lending advice to their clients, they pride themselves on the quality and scope of services they provide. Operating out of a contemporary top-floor office, staff enjoy a collaborative environment, access to arrival amenities, the latest in software, social activities and health services.
Key responsibilities include:
General compliance, accounting, and tax return preparation for all types of taxpayers
Managing and maintaining client files
Developing tailored financial strategies for clients
Analysing financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities for other Practice services
Collaborating with clients on tax-related matters and liaising with the ATO and other authorities
Implementing effective tax planning programs
Ensure the timely completion of all accounting and tax-related work, meeting deadlines and budgets
Review work with Managers and Associate Directors
Be mindful of weekly and monthly productivity targets
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and continue their professional growth
The Ideal Candidate:
4+ years working in public practice and business services
CA or CPA qualified, or actively working toward certification
Communicates clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail
Takes initiative and shows motivation
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Has excellent time-management skills and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
