Our client is an award-winning tax accounting firm undergoing an exciting period of growth. Due to the expansion of the firm's portfolio, two new positions have become available, offering a wonderful opportunity for experienced tax accountants to work with a diverse portfolio, including large multinational clients. The firm offers financial and tax advice, self-managed super funds, audits, registered company audits, insolvency services, business restructuring, ATO negotiations, private rulings, and financial planning
Responsibilities and Duties:
Review the work of the intermediate and junior accountants, offer tax advice to clients, and conduct client meetings with the manager.
Perform Division 7A, CGT, and grouping provisions in relation to payroll tax.
Research and submit private rulings for clients, including objections.
Work with large and medium-sized clients, including companies, trusts, overseas trusts, and groups.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
A degree in accounting from an Australian institution
Completed or working towards a CA/CPA qualification.
At least 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
Experience using Xero and BGL (preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and taxation fundamentals
