We have partnered with a long-standing, family-run public accounting firm based in East Brisbane to find an experienced Administration Assistant. Working within a contemporary office, this role plays a critical role in daily operations, working closely with all staff across a range of administrative duties. No two days are ever the same!
About the Role: Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
Assisting with day-to-day client relationships and becoming the first point of contact for client enquiries.
Providing administrative support to the adviser and other team members.
Data collection from various providers and preparation of documents for client reviews.
Preparing simple advice documents and assisting with the preparation of complex advice.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing queries and providing excellent service
Prepare client invoices, emails, reports, and other key documents
Manage ad-hoc client correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses
Ensure the smooth operation of administrative duties to support the firm’s continued success
The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality.
Has 12 months of administrative experience, ideally in an accounting firm
Is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Has experience handling ATO and ASIC correspondence
Is passionate about building a long-term career in administration
Possesses excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused mindset
