About the position:

• Preparing income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds.
• Preparing Business Activity Statements and state tax returns, such as payroll tax and land tax.
• Researching and consulting on a range of tax issues and drafting tax advice for our managers and partners.
• Liaising with the ATO, OSR, clients, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

The ideal candidate:

• A degree in accounting from an Australian institution
• Completed or working towards a CA/CPA qualification.
• At least 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• Chinese speaking is preferred but not essential
• Strong and proven cloud-based software skills, including Excel, Xero, and MYOB. Working experience with FYI will be a bonus.
