About the Role:

• Lead and mentor a team of ambitious accountants, providing guidance and support to foster their growth
• Manage workflow and ensure budgets, deadlines, and compliance obligations are met
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal team members
• Collaborate with Partners and management to enhance and manage staff training and development initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years working in public practice and business services
• Undergraduate qualifications and Postgraduate qualifications (CA/CPA)
• Exhibit a strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax rules, and experience with corporate, partnership, trusts and high-net-worth individual taxation matters
• Preferable candidates will have proven leadership and people management skills, including experience in performance development, mentoring, and providing feedback to team members
• Experience in client management, including conducting client meetings and identifying business opportunities
• Experience with MYOB AE, MYOB Account Right, Xero and System Release programs
• Professional presentation and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
