A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced public practice Accountant to lead the accounting functions for a contemporary and innovative accounting firm experiencing unprecedented growth. This hybrid role provides significant flexibility and autonomy in managing your client portfolio, with no business development or performance-based KPIs involved.

The Role:

• Taking ownership of relationships in your portfolio of clients
• Management of your dedicated Philippines based, CPA assistant
• Management of all compliance requirements for your portfolio
• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
• Annual tax optimisation (AKA tax planning) for your portfolio
• Deployment of reporting and forecasting to clients via Fathom
• Identifying and deploying various other services to your portfolio in collaboration with the team
• Opportunity to review work and mentor junior staff
• Regular meetings with your clients in the office and over Teams

You'll have the dedicated support of an experienced, Philippines-based CPA from day 1 to handle the compliance grunt.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in practice
• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
• Experience handling client relationships and being a main point of contact
• Xero ecosystem expertise
• Curiosity with a willingness to develop solutions
• Experience supervising more junior staff is desirable but not essential
