We have partnered with a contemporary accounting firm based in Ascot to find their next Intermediate Accountant. This well-established firm specialises in business accounting, tax planning/preparation, bookkeeping and wealth management.
 
About the role
With no two days the same, some of your duties will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a broad range of clients and entities.
• Preparation of BASs, IASs & FBT returns
• Assist with preparing advice on tax and business issues
• Liaising with the ATO and ASIC

The ideal candidate:

• Time management, detailed-oriented, and organized
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of tax laws, state taxes and duties
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Ability to analyse and make judgments as to the accuracy of accounting data
