ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Manager, Admissions Systems, this is a newly created role that sits at the intersection of admissions operations, systems, projects and stakeholder engagement. You'll take ownership of domestic admissions systems activities, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure admissions processes are accurate, compliant and delivered seamlessly. From coordinating offer rounds and system configuration through to reporting, continuous improvement and automation initiatives, this role offers a rare opportunity to move beyond traditional admissions processing into a specialist systems-focused position.

DUTIES

• Manage and maintain domestic admissions systems to support the admissions lifecycle
• Coordinate admissions activities, including offer rounds, system testing and validation
• Work closely with external admissions partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth admissions operations
• Support the setup of new programs, admissions pathways and system enhancements
• Analyse admissions data and prepare reports to support business decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and automation
• Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the admissions function
• Provide operational support to the Manager, Admissions Systems and act as a key point of contact when required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience working within Australian domestic admissions in a higher education environment
• Strong understanding of the domestic admissions lifecycle 
• Exposure to admissions systems student management systems
• Experience supporting systems configuration, implementation or business improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical skills with experience producing reports and interpreting operational data
• Previous UAC experience will be highly regarded
