The role: 
The Events Manager reports directly into the Head of Marketing and Community Relations in planning and executing end-to-end events. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality events that bring together students, staff and the wider community ensuring the school experience is the best it can be.

You will also oversee the school’s social media presence, capturing and sharing key moments to boost brand visibility and deepen community engagement
  
Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver on-site, off-site, and virtual events, ensuring brand consistency and professionalism.
• Manage event budgets, procurement, catering, and supplier negotiations for cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, alumni, parents, and contractors to confirm event requirements.
• Negotiate venue contracts and manage bookings and access platforms.
• Develop and maintain engaging social media content and monitor digital presence.
• Promote events through newsletters, publications, social media, and websites.
• Provide feedback and reports to improve event quality and efficiency.
• Represent the organisation at events, ensuring compliance and excellent stakeholder service.

Skill and Experience:

• Proven expertise in end-to-end event management.
• Experience coordinating events is highly desired although not essential
• Tertiary qualifications in Events Coordination, business, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Skilled in social media content creation and platform management.
• Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office applications.
