This Property Manager reports in to the Head of Facilities and leads the day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple campuses, overseeing staff, contractors, WHS compliance, and asset management. They ensure all facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering maintenance programs, annual works schedules, and ongoing improvements.
  
Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead, coach and support maintenance staff across sites promoting professionalism and continuous improvement
• Oversee maintenance operations, inspections, task completion, and event setups across multiple campuses
• Manage contractor performance, SLAs, compliance, and service quality across diverse providers
• Ensure WHS compliance through risk assessments, audits, inductions, and safe work processes
• Maintain asset records, QR coding, and support lifecycle planning and condition assessments
• Manage budgets, procurement processes, cost efficiency, and material estimation
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and service providers, ensuring transparency and smooth coordination
• Provide flexible operational support across all campuses, including emergency response when required

Skill and Experience:

• Proven experience in Facilities or Maintenance Management, with strong leadership of multi-disciplinary teams
• In-depth knowledge of NSW building codes, WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and compliance requirements
• Experience using maintenance management systems (ideally MyBuildings) and strong computer literacy
• Demonstrated ability to supervise contractors, manage building works, and deliver maintenance programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve issues constructively
• Current NSW Drivers Licence, and the ability to obtain Working with Children Check, and National Police Check
