We’re seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Timetabling Officer to join a University College in Sydney. This is a short-term, temporary assignment for 1–2 months, with the potential for extension. The role supports the finalisation of the Semester 2, 2025 timetable. While the bulk of the timetable has been drafted, this position will focus on managing final adjustments, implementing changes, communicating updates, and ensuring a smooth handover between outgoing and incoming staff.

The Role

• Action and update timetable changes as needed
• Liaise with staff regarding updates and amendments
• Learn and work within the current timetabling software
• Receive knowledge handover from a departing team member
• Provide clear documentation and a structured handover to incoming staff
• Perform other administrative duties as required

About You

• Experience in rostering or timetabling in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
• Prior experience in a higher education setting is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Hands-on experience with timetabling or rostering systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Collaborative and confident in engaging with a range of internal stakeholders
