We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our expanding team. Here you will build long-lasting relationships with clients across the education sector and provide guidance and support to candidates finding their next opportunity.
No prior recruitment experience is required—we provide full training to help you succeed. You’ll gain hands-on experience in business development, client management, and end-to-end recruitment while working in a supportive team environment. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid flexibility, requiring just 2 - 3 days in our Sydney office, conveniently located in Sydney CBD close to restaurants and shops.

The Role:
As an Business Development Manager, you will receive comprehensive training directly from the company director and work closely with the wider team to drive business development and build strong client relationships within the education sector.
- Partner with clients to assess their talent needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
- Take a proactive approach to business development, identifying new opportunities to expand our client base within the education sector
- Write and post engaging job advertisements to attract top talent for current vacancies
- Conduct phone screenings to assess candidates' skills and suitability for roles
- Lead virtual and face-to-face interviews, ensuring the best talent is selected for each position
- Provide exceptional customer service to both candidates and clients, building authentic, long-term relationships
- Oversee compliance processes, including conducting thorough reference checks
- Maintain clear communication with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
- Build and maintain talent pools, attracting high-quality candidates through various platforms
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the recruitment database

- Highly self-motivated, with a strong drive to meet KPIs and deadlines
- Possess a high level of integrity, always striving to deliver the best outcomes for both candidates and clients
- Skilled at multitasking, effectively managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a solid understanding of all core tools
- Resilient and solution-oriented, maintaining a positive, can-do attitude even in challenging situations
