We're partnering with a leading school in Sydney’s Inner West to find a dynamic HR Advisor for a 12-month contract! This full-time role offers hybrid flexibility (1–2 days WFH) and is conveniently located near public transport.

As an HR Advisor, you'll be a key player in handling HR queries, assisting with projects, and supporting initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Plus, you'll have the chance to collaborate on exciting projects and implementations with the wider team!

The duties: 

• Handle a high volume of HR queries with efficiency, delivering swift and effective resolutions
• Support the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers
• Troubleshoot HRIS system issues, providing expert guidance and solutions where required 
• Prepare and update contracts with precision and attention to detail
• Oversee induction processes, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees
• Maintain compliance by verifying Working with Children’s Checks and visa requirements
• Generate insightful reports to support HR operations and decision-making
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure seamless onboarding for new starters
• Jump in on ad hoc tasks to keep everything running seamlessly

The Ideal candidate: 

• Experience in the education sector, with a strong understanding of HR operations 
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
• Broad HR Generalist/Coordinator experience, capable of handling various responsibilities
• Skilled in reviewing and improving HR processes and systems
• Strong relationship-building skills, working effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience working with multi-enterprise agreements and awards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
