The Role:
This Recruitment Consultant will work closely with the Director and the wider team to fill roles across the education sector, while actively driving business development and growing relationships with clients.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business development and building strong, lasting relationships with clients across the education sector on a national scale. You’ll work closely with multiple clients to understand their staffing needs, whilst actively growing this portfolio of clients.
- Partner with clients to assess their talent needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
- Take a proactive approach to business development, identifying new opportunities to expand our client base within the education sector
- Write and post engaging job advertisements to attract top talent for current vacancies
- Conduct phone screenings to assess candidates' skills and suitability for roles
- Lead virtual and face-to-face interviews, ensuring the best talent is selected for each position
- Provide exceptional customer service to both candidates and clients, building authentic, long-term relationships
- Oversee compliance processes, including conducting thorough reference checks
- Maintain clear communication with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
- Build and maintain talent pools, attracting high-quality candidates through various platforms
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the recruitment database
The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, combined with a strong focus on expanding client portfolios. - Demonstrated success in a recruitment-focused role, with a track record of achieving targets and driving results
- Highly self-motivated, with a strong drive to meet KPIs and deadlines
- Possess a high level of integrity, always striving to deliver the best outcomes for both candidates and clients
- Skilled at multitasking, effectively managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a solid understanding of all core tools
- Resilient and solution-oriented, maintaining a positive, can-do attitude even in challenging situations
