Electrical Engineering Internship - Earthing & Bonding

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern with knowledge or exposure to Earthing and Bonding to gain practical industry experience with a specialised electrical engineering company in Sydney.
This opportunity is ideal for an Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related Engineering student/recent graduate looking to apply their technical knowledge to real-world projects and strengthen their Australian engineering experience.
 
Key Responsibilities
The intern may assist with:

• Earthing and bonding engineering activities
• Earthing system design and analysis
• Engineering calculations and technical assessments
• Review of electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Earth Potential Rise (EPR), step and touch voltage concepts
• Preparation of engineering reports and project documentation
• Earthing testing and related project activities
• Supporting engineers across electrical infrastructure projects

About You
We would like to hear from candidates who:

• Are studying or have recently completed Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline
• Have knowledge, academic exposure or project experience in Earthing and Bonding
• Have an understanding of electrical power systems
• Are comfortable working with technical drawings and engineering information
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Are motivated to gain practical Australian engineering experience

Knowledge of CDEGS, earthing system modelling, soil resistivity, EPR, step/touch voltage or high-voltage systems would be highly regarded but is not essential.
