About the Opportunity An established manufacturing business based in Sydney is offering a 3-month Mechanical Engineering Internship for an enthusiastic engineering student or recent graduate looking to gain practical exposure within a manufacturing environment.

This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on industry experience and an understanding of how mechanical engineering principles are applied across manufacturing, production and engineering operations.

About the Role Working alongside experienced engineering and manufacturing professionals, the intern may gain exposure to:

• Supporting mechanical engineering and manufacturing projects
• Assisting with product and component design activities
• Preparing and updating engineering drawings and documentation
• Assisting with CAD modelling and design modifications
• Supporting production and manufacturing processes
• Conducting basic measurements, inspections and technical checks
• Assisting with identifying and resolving engineering or production issues
• Reviewing technical specifications and engineering documentation
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborating with production, engineering and other operational teams

About You The ideal candidate will be:

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Interested in manufacturing, mechanical design and engineering processes
• Familiar with engineering drawings and basic CAD concepts
• Able to understand and apply fundamental mechanical engineering principles
• Comfortable working in a practical manufacturing environment
• Reliable, proactive and willing to learn
• Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Available to commit to the full 3-month internship period
