ABOUT POSITION:
We’re looking for a Process Engineering Drawing Intern.
ABOUT YOU: You must:
be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
be committed to a career in your field of study.
be able to work at least 3 days per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and interpret engineering drawings and design specifications.
Convert engineering designs into manufacturing and production data packages.
Prepare production drawings, 2D drawings, 3D models, and related documentation.
Ensure drawings and manufacturing data are accurate and fabrication-ready.
Work with engineering and production teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
Ensure proper drawing revisions, dimensions, tolerances, materials, and BOM information.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or related field.
Good understanding of engineering design, manufacturing, and fabrication processes.
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, drafting, modelling, and production drawings.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar.
Good attention to detail and ability to translate engineering requirements into practical manufacturing information.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
LOCATION: The host company is located at Sydney.
