This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to build a career in User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design while gaining practical Australian industry experience.
You will have the opportunity to work on real digital projects and collaborate with developers, marketing professionals, and other team members to create engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly digital experiences.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will assist with the design and improvement of digital products, websites, and user experiences.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with UI and UX design for websites, applications, and digital platforms.
- Creating wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
- Developing visually engaging and user-friendly interface designs.
- Conducting basic user research and gathering feedback.
- Supporting usability testing and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Creating and maintaining design systems and style guides.
- Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Assisting with website and application redesign projects.
- Researching current UI/UX trends and digital design best practices.
- Creating design assets and supporting broader digital and marketing projects.
- Iterating designs based on user feedback, business requirements, and testing results.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Currently studying or recently graduated in UI/UX Design, Digital Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, IT, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in user experience and digital product design.
- Creative mindset with strong visual and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to receive feedback and iterate on designs.
- A portfolio or examples of university/personal design projects is highly regarded.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
