Role Summary As a Back-End Developer Intern , you will support the development and
maintenance of server-side systems, APIs, and databases that power web applications. You will
work closely with the Back-End Lead and development team to build scalable and efficient
solutions, including contributing to in-house CMS.
Responsibilities ● Assist in developing and maintaining server-side application logic
● Support database management and optimisation
● Assist with API development and integrations
● Debug technical issues and support system maintenance
● Help improve application performance and security
● Collaborate with front-end developers on system integration
● Assist with the development, maintenance, and improvement of IT BOOST’s in-house CMS
Requirements ● Studying or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering,
or related field
● Basic knowledge of Python, Java, Node.js, or similar languages
● Familiarity with databases such as MySQL
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Eagerness to learn backend architecture and development workflows
KPIs
● Complete assigned development tasks within deadlines
● Maintain clean, functional, and reliable code
● Support bug fixes and performance improvements
● Contribute to backend feature development
● Support ongoing improvements to IT BOOST’s in-house CMS
LOCATION:
The host company is located at Melbourne Victoria 3004.
