Job Title: Structural/Civil Engineer Intern Sydney (Unpaid Internship)
Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia
Duration: 3-6 months
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer Intern to join our Sydney team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to structural design, analysis, and project coordination within a dynamic engineering environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers, gain practical industry knowledge, and develop your technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers with structural design calculations and drafting.
• Support preparation of drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct research on materials, codes, and construction standards.
• Participate in site inspections and project meetings.
• Contribute to problem-solving and project planning discussions.

What You Will Learn:

• Structural analysis and design principles.
• Application of Australian Standards in structural engineering.
• Real-world project workflows and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Software tools used in structural engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000).

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of engineering software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for learning and professional growth in structural engineering.

Additional Information:

• This is an unpaid internship; however, you will gain invaluable experience and mentorship from senior engineers.
