UX & Product Engineering Intern - Adelaide
Location: Adelaide, SA | Type: Internship | 3-6 months
About the Role:
This internship is designed for a motivated UX & Product Engineering Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience bridging user experience and software development. You'll work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to implement user-centered digital solutions while learning about the technical aspects of product development.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and designers to implement UX solutions in web and mobile applications
• Assist in building interactive prototypes and front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or relevant frameworks
• Conduct user research and usability testing to guide product development decisions
• Support integration of UX designs with back-end systems and APIs
• Help maintain design systems, documentation, and code repositories
• Contribute to problem-solving, technical improvements, and feature implementation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, UX/UI Design, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding of web/mobile architecture
• Familiarity with UX principles, wireframing, and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, InVision)
• Interest in bridging design and engineering, understanding how UX impacts software functionality
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
