ABOUT POSITION:

• We’re looking for a Junior Accountant Intern.
• Our host company offers meaningful work experience, strong supervision, supportive work environment, and is planning to offer permanent employment for the suitable candidate.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
• have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
• be committed to a career in your field of study.
• be able to work at least 3 days per week.

  
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, and family trusts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Perform coding and bookkeeping duties using accounting software
• Liaise with external parties, including the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and financial institutions, on behalf of clients
• Provide general tax and compliance support to senior accountants and managers
• Assist with a broad range of accounting, compliance, and administrative tasks as required

LOCATION
The host company is located at Perth.
