Frontend Web Development Internship 

Duration: 3 months (flexible schedule)
Are you a motivated web development student or recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience in modern frontend technologies and e-commerce platforms?

We're partnering with a leading Australian commercial furniture company to offer a remote internship opportunity for an aspiring Frontend Web Developer. This is an excellent chance to work with industry professionals, grow your technical skills, and gain exposure to tools and workflows used in professional frontend development environments.

About the Host Company
Our client is an established Australian designer and manufacturer of commercial furniture, serving the hospitality, education, healthcare, and aged care sectors. With over 25 years in the industry, they are now expanding their digital footprint t.

Your Role Will Include:

• Assisting in the enhancement of a Magento 2 e-commerce platform using the Alpaca Theme
• Working with SCSS and a Gulp-based build system to implement responsive UI improvements
• Translating design mockups (Figma, Photoshop) into functional user interfaces
• Collaborating with backend developers and the marketing/design teams
• Testing and troubleshooting across browsers and devices
• Gaining hands-on experience with real-world project workflows

Tech Stack You'll Work With:

• Frontend: Magento 2, SCSS, Gulp, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6)
• Design Tools: Figma, Photoshop
• Bonus if you have: Node.js, MongoDB/MySQL, REST/GraphQL APIs, AWS basics

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Web Development, or related fields
• Strong interest in frontend development and UI/UX design integration
• Basic understanding of responsive design and component-based styling (SCSS)
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment
