Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join one of our host companies, a well-established university located in the heart of Melbourne, for a 12-week unpaid internship. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to gain practical experience in IT systems management and technical support. The internship will provide exposure to IT infrastructure, server operations, troubleshooting, and end-user support while working alongside experienced professionals. There are potential job opportunities available for the right candidate upon completion of the internship.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT help desk support to staff and students
• Manage and maintain server accounts and unique access systems
• Perform hard disk transfers and data management from the server
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues to ensure smooth university operations
• Support team communication and IT-related coordination
• Assist with LMH (Learning Management Hub) maintenance and updates
• Contribute to the overall reliability and efficiency of IT systems

  
Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of IT systems, servers, and networking
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic hardware/software setups
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or related areas)
