Marketing & Event Assistant Internship

�� About the Host Company A well-established and multicultural solar energy company based in North Sydney is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Event Assistant Intern. This is a rare opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in both digital marketing and event coordination, working alongside a dynamic and supportive team.

�� Key Responsibilities As a Marketing & Event Assistant Intern, you will contribute to key campaigns and projects, including:

Marketing Tasks:

• Supporting content planning and digital campaign execution
• Conducting SEO research and optimisation
• Copywriting for web, email newsletters, and social media posts
• Google Analytics tracking and report generation

Event Support:

• Assisting with event logistics, planning and setup
• Coordinating vendor communication where required
• Supporting on-site tasks and administrative event duties

�� Learning Outcomes & Training Throughout the internship, you will gain exposure and training in:

• Digital content strategy and SEO
• Campaign planning and communication
• Event coordination and stakeholder engagement
• Data analysis through Google Analytics
• Mentorship from a dedicated Marketing Coordinator

�� Ideal Candidate We’re looking for a passionate student or recent graduate who is eager to learn and build a strong foundation in marketing and events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Events, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and metrics
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools
• Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
• Previous placement or volunteer experience in a similar area is a plus

�� Days & Hours

• Preferred days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
• Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Flexibility offered depending on workload
