Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Construction & Project Administration Intern to join one of our host companies in North Melbourne, VIC, for a part-time 12-week unpaid internship. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates from a Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering background who want to gain practical industry experience.

The internship offers exposure to construction administration, project planning, OHS, contractor management, and client coordination. You will work closely with an Operations Manager across multiple commercial building sites, gaining hands-on insights into project delivery and facilities management.
Outstanding performance during the internship may lead to transition into a paid graduate role with the company.

Responsibilities:
Primary Tasks:

• Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day duties across 10+ commercial sites.
• Assist with construction and project administration, including documentation and planning.
• Contribute to construction project planning and scheduling.
• Support safety and OHS administration.
• Coordinate trades and contractors, including site inductions.
• Obtain and compare quotes from contractors.
• Provide office-based project administration support.

Secondary Tasks:

• Assist with end-to-end asset lifecycle management.
• Contribute to the development of training manuals for construction and facilities processes.
• Update OHS safety documentation.
• Support policy and procedure development.
• Provide additional project management and administrative support as required.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work across multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment.
