One of our clients, a global leader in medical equipment (specialising in products such as microscopes and X-ray machines), is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join their Sydney team.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent state-of-the-art technology while working with a supportive team in a multinational environment.

About the Role As a Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing a specialist portfolio of products across a defined territory. You’ll build long-term customer relationships, maximise sales opportunities, and ensure the highest standard of service delivery. This is a hands-on role that combines technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and proactive territory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets for designated product groups.
• Develop a strong understanding of product operations and applications.
• Build and maintain an updated territory plan and customer database.
• Schedule and conduct weekly client visits, with forward planning of activities.
• Record customer data, opportunities, and quotes in the CRM system.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
• Work closely with marketing, logistics, and product specialists to maximise opportunities.
• Proactively prospect for new business while nurturing existing accounts.
• Represent the business at training, trade shows, and industry events.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in engineering, mechanical trade, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years’ field sales experience (medical/technical sales preferred).
• Strong technical aptitude and passion for innovative technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, achievement-focused, and resilient.
