Accounting Internship 
ABOUT US 
STUDY AND WORK helps companies hire emerging talent with the ambition to prove themselves in the workplace. Currently, we have several companies looking to host Accounting Interns as part of our “Try Before You Hire” Professional Internship Program. 
ABOUT OUR CLIENTS 
As an Accounting Intern, you will be working in the finance and accounting departments of reputable companies or accounting firms under the guidance of qualified accountants and financial controllers who will mentor and support you throughout the internship.

ABOUT THE POSITION 
You may gain practical experience in: 

• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes 
• Reconciliation of bank statements and financial records 
• Preparing BAS and GST reports 
• Managing payroll entries and leave accruals 
• Using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks 
• Creating and analysing financial reports 
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes 
• Performing data entry, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance 
• Supporting audits and compliance requirements 
• Communicating with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding financial documentation 

ABOUT YOU 
To increase your chances of securing a job offer during or after the internship, you should possess: 

• A degree or final-year enrolment in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• Familiarity with accounting software like MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or Excel 
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy 
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability 
• A willingness to learn and take initiative 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 
We charge a success-based internship facilitation fee of $2,200 (inc GST), payable only when you accept an internship offer after a successful interview. 
The fee covers: 

• 12-week internship placement with satisfaction guarantee 
• Internship agreement with training plan 
• Insurance coverage 
• Performance appraisals and certificate of work experience
