ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
• have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
• be committed to a career in your field of study.
• be able to work at least 3 days per week.

  
Learning Outcomes: As a Cyber Security Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in areas such as:

• Threat Detection & Response – Identifying and mitigating security threats in real-time.
• Vulnerability Assessment – Conducting scans and analyzing system weaknesses.
• Security Policy & Compliance – Assisting in audits and ensuring adherence to security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Incident Handling – Participating in breach investigations and remediation.
• Network Security – Learning firewall, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
• Security Awareness Training – Helping develop and deliver employee cybersecurity training.
• Penetration Testing Basics – Assisting in ethical hacking simulations (if applicable).
• Security Tooling & Automation – Using SIEM, SOAR, or scripting for security tasks.

LOCATION:
The host company is located at Parramatta NSW.
